Rosenbalm Rips Ellenburg for 5 Hits
|
Myron Rosenbalm put on a hitting clinic today as the Alloway Halberds dumped the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds 8-7 at Dog Park in Ellenburg.
The Alloway first baseman made Ellenburg defenders earn their pay, lashing Ellenburg pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."
"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Rosenbalm said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."
Myron Rosenbalm singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
Rosenbalm is hitting .286 so far this season with 11 RBIs and 9 runs scored. He has 28 hits including 3 home runs, 14 walks and .372 OBP.
