Alloway Halberds starter Peter Glenn was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Jersey City Tritons, 6-4. The Halberds now have a record of 23-53 with the win over Jersey City.
Manny Gonzáles tagged a home run off Jason Martin in the bottom of the ninth. His 2-run blast put the Halberds on top, 6-4. In all, Gonzáles had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Glenn said.
