Halberds Need Extras to Top Fighting Dachsunds
Ellenburg got a terrific performance from pitcher Benjamin Busto, but it wasn't enough to beat the Alloway Halberds. Alloway won the Ballpark of Alloway contest, 4-3. Busto was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball. Even with the win, the Halberds have a dismal 21-52 record.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 12th inning, when Alloway right fielder Carlos De Jesús, facing Félix Santiago, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Halberds the 4-3 win.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," De Jesús said.
