Halberds Pick Up 9-6 Win
|
Alloway second baseman Enrique Gómez had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 9-6 win over the Royse City Targaryens. Bob Browning, credited with the win, is now 2-8. He allowed 6 runs on 11 hits in 6 innings. Bryan Tuff sewed up the save, his 1st.
Gómez had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the first, when he hit a 2-run single. The Halberds went on to win.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Gómez. "And not try to do too much."
Alloway is now 20-52, while Royse City is 49-23.
