Yushua Harith put on a hitting clinic today as the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds dumped the Augusta Timber Hawks 11-4 at Timber Hawks Ballpark.

The Ellenburg center fielder made Augusta defenders earn their pay, lashing Augusta pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Harith said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Yushua Harith doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

Harith is hitting .328 so far this season with 25 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 61 hits including 5 home runs, 23 walks and .408 OBP.
