The 2035 season is getting ugly for Alloway.
Athletic Club KC second baseman Tasuku Goto was instrumental in his team's 9-4 win over the Alloway Halberds. Goto, who is tied for 3rd in the SAAA in home runs with 12, went 1-3 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Reserves. Hezekiah Grimsley sewed up the save, his 1st.
Early in the game, Goto had a 3-run home run for Athletic Club KC. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Reserves on top, 3-0.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Henry Russell said.
Athletic Club KC has now won 4 straight.
