The Alloway Halberds knocked off the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds, 12-5, at Dog Park in Ellenburg. Tom Boyer, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Alloway won. The third baseman went 3-5 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Alloway is now 15-39, Ellenburg 19-35.

Jordan Hollins, who is rated as the 89th best prospect by BNN, helped out the Alloway cause in the top of the first inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the shortstop was 2-5 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Hollins. "And not try to do too much."
