The Alloway Halberds got a stellar performance from pitcher Bob Browning, who handcuffed the Port Royal offense en route to a 10-1 win at Ballpark of Port Royal. Even with the win, the Halberds have a dismal 13-37 record.

Browning, a native of Boston, Massachusetts, was dealing all game. He kept Port Royal hitters off-balance, while giving the Halberds 9 quality innings. Browning threw 117 pitches, allowing 5 hits and striking out 4.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Browning said after the game.
