The Alloway Halberds beat the Pennsauken Flyers, 8-6, at Pennsauken Park. The win was largely due to the efforts of first baseman Greg Bugarin, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-3 with a triple, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs. Gilberto Ramírez picked up the win, improving his season record to 2-3. He struck out 4 in 7 innings. Francisco García recorded the save for Alloway, his 3rd of the season.

Alloway right fielder Carlos De Jesús contributed to the cause with a 2-run double in the top of the second. For the game, De Jesús went 1 for 4 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs.

"I know we have our doubters," said Pennsauken manager Reggie Adams. "But I still have high hopes for this team."

The Halberds' win now puts them at 9-33.
