Fighting Dachsunds Go Down to Defeat, 5-2
|
Port Royal rode a decent outing from starter Scott Morrison to victory over the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds at Dog Park in Ellenburg. The final score was 5-2. Port Royal is now 21-16.
The Disaster got a big at-bat from designated hitter Eduardo Álvarez. For the game, Álvarez went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Port Royal a 4-1 lead.
"I really like what we did out there today," Morrison said after the game.
