Flyers Go Down to Defeat, 11-6
The Port Royal Disaster grabbed a 11-6 win over the Pennsauken Flyers at Ballpark of Port Royal. Port Royal right fielder Luis Ríos was 2-2 with 2 singles and 3 walks, while scoring 3 times to earn player of the game honors. Fernando Varela picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-1. He struck out 3 in 6 innings. Domingo Montémayor locked down his 1st save.

Júlio Morín Jr. had a big 2-run single for the Disaster in the bottom of the third inning. With Port Royal leading 5-3 and the bases loaded, he got a cutter from J.J. Spencer and stroked the single to right. It was his 40th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Disaster ahead, 7-3.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Theo Graves.

Port Royal is now 20-15.
