Keith Cochrane never let the Disaster get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his curveball, to pitch the Timber Hawks to a 5-1 win. Cochrane went 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6. His record improves to 2-0. Earning his 1st save for Augusta was Jorge Ochoa.

In the top of the seventh, Wrangler Haresnape stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Disaster were trailing 5-1, but had the bases loaded. That's when Jorge Ochoa made a terrific pitch and Haresnape grounded out. Gone was the dream of a Port Royal comeback.

Losses have been few and far between for the Disaster, who are now 11-4.
