Athletic Club KC Reserves starter Ricky McCauley pitched a strong game against the Pennsauken Flyers at KC Reserve Stadium, leading the Reserves to a 6-2 win. In 6.2 innings, McCauley surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. Ismael Calderón earned the save for Athletic Club KC, his 1st of the year.
Kwang-chih Feng, who is rated as the 96th best prospect by BNN, aided the Athletic Club KC cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman was 1-4.
"Feels good to get the job done," Feng said after the game.
Athletic Club KC is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 1st in 4 games.
