Golden Cranes Get Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
|
Santa Barbara Golden Cranes starter José Sipe was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Calgary Lynx, 4-1. The win lifts Santa Barbara to a record of 2-3.
Arsenio Laurel, who is rated as the 54th best prospect by BNN, contributed to the Santa Barbara win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
