Rawhides Get One-Run Win at Lannister United
The Belvedere Park Rawhides got a stellar performance from pitcher Ron Pomar, who handcuffed the Lannister United offense en route to a 1-0 win at Lionheart Field. Pomar, now 3-2, was the winner. In 8.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 0, walking 2, and allowing no earned runs. Ivano Carbonetti was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 6 of 8 save opportunities.

Belvedere Park grabbed control in the top of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Richello Oliva delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 1-0 in favor of the Rawhides.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Belvedere Park manager said.
