Arana Sashi really sizzled at the plate in today's 16-4 win over Continentals. The Bethesda center fielder blistered Chesapeake for 5 hits in 5 at-bats.

"Sashi was too tough to get out today," the Continentals skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."

Arana Sashi hit a solo-shot off Javier Ariza in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 7th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

This year Sashi has collected a .338 batting average to date with 23 hits in 68 at-bats, 15 RBIs, 2 home runs and scored 11 times. He has played in 37 games.
