|
Bethesda right-hander Dahab Kanda pitched his team to victory over the Lancaster Farmers at Farmers Field. The final score was 4-2. Kanda, now 1-1, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 3, walking 3, and allowing 2 earned runs. Jules Goux picked up the save, his 6th.
Renato Zuvic, who is tied for 4th in the SAA in stolen bases with 17, aided the Bethesda cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth. For the game, the left fielder went 1-4, while adding 2 RBI.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Bethesda manager Raúl Méndez.
Bethesda has now won 4 straight.
