Continentals Lose Again, 4-2, to Eclipse
|
Northville rode a fine outing from starter Lawrence Swift to victory over the Chesapeake Continentals at Old-Timers Park. The final score was 4-2. The slumping Continentals have lost 6 straight.
Had Raymond Dudzinski not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Dudzinski hit a 3-run home run. That made the score 4-2, in favor of the Eclipse.
"Losing is easy," said Dudzinski. "Winning is hard."
