Grey Wolves Edge Past Flamingos, 3-2

The Vancouver Grey Wolves took Las Vegas pitcher Germán Rodríguez's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Wolf Den in Vancouver. The final score had Vancouver getting past the Flamingos, 3-2. Rodríguez went 7.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run, striking out 4. Vancouver goes to 30-15. The win puts them 2 games up in their division.
Michael Malloy tagged a home run off Ieyoshi Asai in the bottom of the eighth. His 2-run blast put the Grey Wolves on top, 3-2. In all, Malloy had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
"I like the grit of this ballclub," Malloy said.
