Miners Squelch Continentals Offense in Shutout Win
Shihab bin Salim never let the Continentals get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Miners to a 3-0 win. César Sandoval earned save number 3. At 26-33, Marquette is in 7th place in the Silver AA.

In the top of the third, with the game tied and one out, Chesapeake had runners on 1st and 2nd. Martín Chávez had a chance to do some damage. But he hit into a double play.
