Mockingbirds Continue Skid Thanks to Deschain, Patriots
|
The exploits of shortstop Roland Deschain, who is tied for 10th in the PL with a .314 batting average, helped the Boston Patriots defeat the Mississippi Mockingbirds, 7-2. Deschain was 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Natalino Golaio was the winning pitcher.
