Divided Come Up Short at Buckhead
The D.C. Divided got a superb performance from shortstop José Torres. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Buckhead. The Bowties won the game, 8-7. In spite of the loss, Torres was named the player of the game. He went 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI. Brian Fixel recorded his 2nd save for Buckhead. Buckhead is now 21-20, D.C. 16-25.

Daniel McCoy came through for Buckhead in the bottom of the fifth. With one out, McCoy victimized Bobby Ruegsegger with a solo home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put Buckhead on top, 8-7.

"Nothing is scripted in this game," said McCoy.
