Fans brought energy and enthusiasm to the Chesapeake Continentals home opener. Ángel Silva started for the home team against Craig Fitzgerald for the Irving Blue Sox. The Continentals were unable to reward the home crowd with a win. The final score was 7-2, Irving. Craig Fitzgerald was named player of the game.
