Ft. Polk South designated hitter Luke Thornton made his presence felt in the 8-4 Thunder Hawks triumph over the Richland Rails. Thornton went 2-3 with a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Ft. Polk South, now 2-1, has played well in the early going.
