Martínez Hits 2 home runs in Red Pandas Win
|
Sioux Falls first baseman Tomás Martínez had a 6-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 12-2 win over the Sacramento Redlegs. Sioux Falls reliever Jim Sison was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Enrique Cortéz took the loss for Sacramento. Sioux Falls is now 43-49, Sacramento 38-54.
Martínez had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the seventh inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Red Pandas went on to win.
Sacramento manager Rich Hunter said his team was "out of sync."
