Charles Josse helped his team muscle past the Sunset District Fog, 4-2. In the game, the Sacramento third baseman went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Dan Bond picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-0. He struck out 4 in 6.1 innings. Tom Warrawong finished to wrap up his 2nd save.
Josse had a big at-bat with a runner on 3rd in the top of the fourth inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Redlegs went on to win.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Sunset District skipper Craig Walters, "and it cost us."
Sacramento is now 29-41. Sunset District is 43-27.
