McLambroch Excels, But Coyotes Win
The Sacramento Redlegs got a superb performance from left fielder Larry McLambroch. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Hamilton. The Coyotes won the game, 11-7. In spite of the loss, McLambroch was named the player of the game. He was 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Hamilton reliever Kevin Pilkington picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-0. Lonnie Zavala was collared with the loss. Hansky Paillant, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 5th save.

Tomás Bermúdez was a key contributor to the win for the Coyotes. In the bottom of the sixth with one out, the light-hitting shortstop stroked a double to right. He was 2 for 4 with a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Bermúdez.

Hamilton, at 15-50, occupies last place in the Menard's AAA.
