Cabanillas Jr., Dodos Get 5-3 Win
|
Hialeah beat Houston on the strength of starter Anastasio Cabanillas Jr.'s fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 5-3 win. Richard Osborn, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 6th save. Hialeah, at 22-18, sits in 4th place in the Menard's AAA.
Cabanillas Jr., a native of Jollyville, Texas, was dealing all game. He kept Houston hitters off-balance, while giving the Dodos 7 quality innings. Cabanillas Jr. threw 101 pitches, allowing 1 hit and striking out 8.
Cabanillas Jr. told a Hialeah Chronicle reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
