Braves Suffer 6-3 Loss to Drummers

In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
The Drummers faced a stiff challenge from Gryfindor pitcher Rodrigo Torres, but persevered to claim a win at Cayuse Ballpark. The final score was 6-3. Torres went 5 innings and allowed no earned runs. Tom Scots picked up the win with 6.2 innings of work. He allowed 1 earned run on 9 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 7. On the season, he is now 2-4. Jerry Magee earned his 6th save in 6 tries.
Tortolita center fielder Craig Woods helped the Drummers to the win. In the top of the second inning, the top prospect stroked a 2-run single. For the game, Woods went 2-5 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Woods told the Tortolita Times.
