The Panama City Piranhas topped the Brooklyn Dodgers, 5-3, in Menard's Third League action at Ebbetts Field. The player of the game was Panama City pitcher and Noda, Japan native Hikaru Yamaguchi. The winning pitcher was Yamaguchi, now 3-0. He tossed 5.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 4. With the win, Panama City elevates its record to 8-3.

Early in the game, right fielder Tak-hing Huang had a 2-run double for Panama City. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Piranhas on top, 2-0.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Yamaguchi said.
