Cattlemen Hope Win Turns Around Slow Start
|
It was a good time at The Cattle Pen, where fans came to watch the Panama City Piranhas and Ft. Worth Cattlemen get after it.
Ft. Worth right-hander Robbie Betchley pitched his team to victory over the Panama City Piranhas at The Cattle Pen. The final score was 6-3. Betchley, now 2-0, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 8, walking 3, and allowing 2 earned runs. Gojong Joseon earned the save, his 1st, for the Cattlemen.
The Cattlemen picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
Betchley told a Ft. Worth Daily News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
Losses have been few and far between for the Piranhas, who are now 7-1.
