Late Rally by Outlaws Secures Win
|
António Muńóz never let the 1837 BBC get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his change up, to pitch the Outlaws to a 3-1 win. At 56-47, Nashville is in third place in the Silver League.
Mario Ramos, who won the Outstanding Hitter Award in 2029, contributed to the Nashville win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth. For the game, the first baseman had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Ramos, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
