Aviators Stumble, Lose to Northern Lions BC
|
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC dealt the Seattle Aviators a 8-3 loss at Boeing Dome. Ramón Padilla was the star on offense. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Armando Marrero got the win, improving to 8-6. He worked 9 innings, giving up 3 runs on 9 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 0. Thunder Bay has now won 6 straight.
In the first inning, Padilla had a bases-clearing double for Thunder Bay. It was his 13th double of the season and put the Northern Lions BC on top, 8-0.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Padilla.
