The Toledo Stingers and Houston 1837 BBC put on quite a show at Houston Grounds.

The Toledo Stingers overcame a good performance by Houston catcher Phil Sherman to knock off Houston, 6-5, at Houston Grounds. Sherman was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Stingers improved to 54-45.

Late-game drama came in the top of the tenth inning. With one out and a runner on 1st, the batter, Eugene Clutch, hit a double. It helped Toledo seize the win.

"It was a solid team effort," said Clutch after the game.
