Outlaws Come Up Short at Seattle
|
The Seattle Aviators defeated the Nashville Outlaws, 5-4, in United States Silver League action at Boeing Dome, with Seattle pitcher John A. Mais named player of the game. Holden Rosen Grupp, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 26th save. Seattle now owns a record of 44-54.
Nuygen Vuong, who is tied for 5th in the SL in bases on balls with 61, helped out the Seattle cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the shortstop was 1 for 4.
"We found a way to get it done," Mais said.
