Francis Raffone Named Premier 3R Player Thursday, September 28th, 2034 He may have less experience than most of his M3L Rookie peers, but that didn't slow Francis Raffone down at all in 2034. At the age of 21, the Gibtown shortstop has been named the winner of the M3L Rookie Most Valuable Player Award. He had a .356 batting average and a .472 on-base percentage this year. In 69 games he piled up 98 hits, 16 doubles, 1 triple, 5 home runs, 35 RBIs and 64 runs scored. "I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year." Jesús Gómez of the Quebec Rookies finished second in voting, while Stock Tonports of the Sheridan Deer finished third. |
