Sánchez Cracks 5 Hits Friday, August 11th, 2034 It was a sensational day at the plate for Quebec Rookies catcher António Sánchez, but a tough one for the team, as the Rookies dropped the contest 5-4 to the Orlando Magic. Even with the loss, Sánchez was pure misery for the Orlando pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked after going 5-for-5 in an explosive display of hitting. "It's always good to get a bunch of hits in a game, but you also want to win," said Sánchez, who is the 21-year old catcher . "Sánchez really hit the ball hard and when you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage," Magic manager Wilber Moon told BNN reporters after the game. "I feel like we threw him some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." António Sánchez hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and singled in the 10th. Sánchez is hitting at a .339 mark this season.
