Solleveld Acclaimed Top Pitcher in July Tuesday, August 1st, 2034 There's something about a young rookie winning the M3L Rookie Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Olaf Solleveld, a 21-year-old starter for the Quebec Rookies. In July, he topped off the month with a 5-0 mark and 1.80 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 35 innings, fanned 39 and held opposing teams to a .211 average. Thus far this season Solleveld has posted a 9-3 record, started 15 games, struck out 116 batters in 110.1 innings and compiled a 2.04 ERA. |
