Canucks Rivera Gone for Year

The season is finished for Félix Rivera of the Moose Jaw Canucks. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Canucks starting pitcher suffered a partially torn labrum while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Franklin Fire. Team doctors said it would take at least 4-5 months to heal.
