Athletic Club KC No Match for Lockhart Wednesday, August 16th, 2034 Tim Lockhart kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Phoenix Hotspur Academy were all smiles after winning 4-0 against the Athletic Club KC U-21 at Ballpark of Elkhorn City today. The left-handed Lockhart gave up no runs in his start, permitted 5 hits and had 5 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Lockhart said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be." So far this year Lockhart has made 19 starts, tossed 119 innings, struck out 98 batters and walked 31. His record is 10-4 with a 3.86 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .267 batting average.
