Cardona USSL Rookie's Hottest Hitter Monday, August 14th, 2034 Ricardo Cardona stepped up to the plate in a big way last week and today he took home the USSL Rookie Player of the Week honors. The Franklin third baseman ripped opposing pitchers for 14 hits in 28 at-bats and 2 home runs. He put together a sizzling .500 batting average as he knocked in 11 runs and scored 9 times. To date Cardona has chalked up a .298 average with 11 home runs, driven in 49 runs and scored 39 times. |
