Smith Stretches Hit String to 20 Sunday, May 28th, 2034 Centennial second baseman Adam Smith has extended his hitting streak to 20 games. He went 2-for-4 in today's game against the Winter Haven Sun Sox. Fort Knox won the ballgame 3-2. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Adam Smith grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. This season Smith is batting .421 with 3 home runs. He has scored 7 runs and driven in 13. |
