Tulsa No Match for Bullard Tuesday, August 29th, 2034 It wasn't easy but the Valley View Cougars made it look that way. Starter Malcolm Bullard shut out the Tulsa Otters despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Valley View Cougars cruised to victory, 9-0. Bullard allowed only 5 hits and rang up 16 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."
