Gene Wilson Out for Season Wednesday, August 9th, 2034 A blow for Gene Wilson today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 10 months with a torn posterior cruciate ligament. Wilson suffered the injury running the bases. Although officials from the Memphis Music are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Wilson's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Wilson is hitting .257 this year with 3 home runs and 26 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .306, 17 walks and scored 22 times. |
