Memphis No Match for Jan-Hui Wednesday, July 19th, 2034 The Surprise Shockers did little to support starter Jin-soo Jan-Hui against the Memphis Music, but it turned out he didn't need the help. The right-hander spun a complete game shutout against the Music, striking out 9 and surrendering 7 hits. The performance from Jan-Hui allowed Surprise to escape with the 1-0 win despite an anemic offense. "Nobody came to me and said 'Jin-soo, we're gonna need you to win this one for us today,' but I could feel it," Jan-Hui told BNN reporters following the win. "I'm the guy that will step up for you when you need it." So far this year Jan-Hui has made 11 starts, tossed 77.1 innings, struck out 57 batters and walked 22.
