Salmivirta Wins PR Player of the Week Monday, July 10th, 2034 Arhippa Salmivirta is respected by most Fort Knox Centennial fans for his no-frills style of play. The 18-year-old center fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USPL Rookie Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .611 average (11-for-18) with no home runs, 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season in 49 games Salmivirta is batting .304 with 5 home runs, 33 RBIs and has scored 26 times. |
