Screaming Eagles Come up Short of Playoffs Tuesday, September 19th, 2034 Heartbreaking. Agonizing. Devastating. They were all words being used by the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles after today being mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. "It stings to come this close but come up short," said manager Omer van Osch. Before this season, the Screaming Eagles last missed the playoffs in 2027. In the 19 years they have been a USPL Double A franchise, they have missed the playoffs 5 times. In the last 10 years, they have missed the playoffs only once. Mercer Island has won the PL AA Championship 6 times in their history. |
