Calhoun Wins PAA Player of the Week Prize Monday, September 18th, 2034 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USPL Double A, but last week Tony Calhoun of the Chesapeake Continentals reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Calhoun rocked opposing pitching for a .565 average (13-for-23), no home runs and 2 RBIs to come away with the award. Calhoun is batting at a .335 pace this season, picking up 87 hits in 260 at-bats with no home runs, 23 RBIs and 30 runs scored. |
