Season Ends for Huibrecht Bik of Casper Wednesday, August 30th, 2034 The season is ending on a bad note for Huibrecht Bik, starting pitcher for the Casper Ghosts. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Bik was hurt against the Tacoma Fur Traders while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will be out for at least 10 months. So far this year Bik has made 21 starts, tossed 102.2 innings, struck out 73 batters and walked 38. His record is 8-5 with a 3.77 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .232 batting average. |
