Fitzgerald Takes SAA #1 Pitcher Trophy Sunday, October 1st, 2034 Craig Fitzgerald took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the USSL Double A Pitcher of the Month award for September. The 23-year-old Blue Sox starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 3-0 won-lost record in 3 starts. This month he fanned 11 batters in 22.1 innings and compiled a 1.61 ERA. Thus far in his career, Fitzgerald has worked 172.1 innings with 98 strikeouts en route to a 9-7 record. The 23-year-old also has a 3.97 ERA. |
